Introduction
KAIST Undergraduate Scholarships are very competitive and once a student is selected by KAIST, his/her tuition fee is waived off and he/she will get scholarship based on KAIST policies.
Eligible international undergraduate applicants wishing to study at KAIST are invited to apply for the KAIST International Student Scholarship as they apply for their course. You can choose to apply either for SPRING semester or Fall semester.
Eligibility
All applicants must be of International Student Admission. Applicants with a financial need are able to apply for the scholarship.
For undergraduate scholarship admission
If you graduated or will be graduating high school, you can apply for any of KAIST's undergraduate (bachelor's degree) program. International candidates must meet all of the following requirements: For Spring Semester, 2017, s/he has graduated or will graduate from his or her secondary education by February 28th, 2017. For Fall Semester, 2017, he or she has graduated or will graduate from his or her secondary education by August 31st, 2017.He or she is not a citizen of Korea.
Note: Korean citizens who hold dual citizenship are not eligible to apply as foreign students.

International applicants whose parents were born in Korea MUST additionally satisfy one of the following two requirements: Firstly, neither of the candidate’s parents is a Korean citizen or; Secondly, the candidate must have received his/her entire elementary, junior high, and high school education outside of Korea at a comparable and equivalent level of those provided in Korea. But in this case, international schools located in Korea are not acknowledged as foreign schools.

- Living expenses: 200,000 ~ 350,000 KRW per month
- Medical insurance
